I fully understand and agree with Christmas, which is the celebration of the birth of Christ, but with the way Christmas is celebrated currently, I doubt if many of the Christians value and put weight on this day.
To most people, its a bout rushing to get themselves presents, decorating with the Christmas trees, and I have always asked myself, why the Christmas tree? I have always believed that it is Western culture and not African, and I find it interesting how much it’s important to some of my brothers and siters.
Because we cannot send the gifts to Christ directly, why don’t we look for an indirect means of sending the gifts through our deeds, instead of buying expensive gifts for each other?
